James Heal showcased a variety of testing instruments at the 2013 Techtextil exhibition in Frankfurt. Proving our instruments are not only for the testing of textiles, Technical Manager Peter Goodwin was on-hand to give product demonstrations at the sell out nonwovens exhibition.
The Titan was shown to be able to test stretch and recovery, strength and compression on a variety of products, including nonwovens and leather. The Martindale abrasion and pilling tester was put through its paces on floor coverings, safety gloves, and leather for vehicle upholstery. And TruBurst was in its element testing the bursting strength and 3D fatigue of a range of items including paper, foil and plastics.
The versatility of our testing instruments played a key role in our stand’s message, and we were able to demonstrate that when we design our products we challenge the norm and create instruments that can be used for a huge variety of applications.
