ASTM Committee D13 Celebrates 100 Years

We are delighted to congratulate ASTM Committee D13 on Textiles on their 100th anniversary.

Lisa Earnshaw, Business Development Manager at James Heal is Vice Chair of the Committee (ASTM D13-59 and D13-60). She meets with around 200 members twice a year to discuss developments in textile testing and standards. Committee D13 has 561 members globally and is responsible for the Annual Book of ASTM Standards, Volumes 7.01 and 7.02.


James Heal sponsored the commemorative event at the end of January which Lisa attended.

Today, some 12,000 ASTM standards are used around the world to improve product quality, enhance safety, facilitate market access and trade, and build consumer confidence.
